Amita Berjaya Sdn Bhd (ABSB) is licensed by the Department of
Environment Malaysia
to receive and manage Scheduled Waste, as well as transportation of Scheduled Waste
under the Environmental
Quality Act 1974.
ABSB offers a sustainable alternative to conventional method of managing Scheduled
Waste. Instead of simply
disposing or incinerating the waste, or partially recovering valuable elements in the
waste with resultant
residue, ABSB's proprietary technology enables Scheduled Waste to be 100% recycled
without any residue
by turning Scheduled Waste into Alternative Raw Material (ARM) and
Alternative Fuel (AF)
as substitute for natural raw material and fossil fuel in cement making.
ABSB's pioneering technology achieves sustainability of resources by adopting the
'Cradle-to-Cradle'
principle where Scheduled Wastes are recycled for continuous use, in line with the
government's Green Industry Strategic Plan.
